Resolution Section 800.12 (A) (3) (b) (1) No less than ten (10) percent of the interior of parking areas shall be landscaped. This is necessary to break up the visual expansiveness of lots and to reduce glare and heat. Amounts greater than ten (10) percent interior landscaping may be necessary to effectively shade the parking lot, reduce the impact of noise and fumes as well as the visual impact of glare, headlights, and/or parking lot lights from the public right of way and from adjoining properties.

Resolution Section 800.12 (A) (3) (b)(1) (b) Provide landscaped islands a minimum of nine (9) feet wide between every ten to fifteen (10-15) spaces that shall include shade trees.
