The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on Wednesday, March 11th at 7:00 pm at Brimfield Town Hall to hear the following variance requests:

 

Variance Application:

Applicant: Alfred and Margaret Siegfried

Owner: Alfred and Margaret Siegfried

Address: 88 Howe Road, Kent, OH 44240

Parcel: 04-019-00-00-015-001

Zoned: R-3

Variance Request: Applicant is requesting a variance to allow for a non-conforming lot. The lot is currently .78 acres, and they would like to convey a portion to an adjacent neighbor, reducing the size of their lot to .4590 acres. The requirement in the R-3 District is .5 acres, and the applicant is requesting a variance of .041 acres. Resolution Section 305.03 (A.) Minimum Lot Area: One-half (1/2) acre, exclusive of road right-of-way.

Zoned: L-I

Variance Request: Applicant is requesting a variance to construct a third accessory structure on their property. The Zoning Resolution allows for two accessory structures per lot. Resolution Section 510.03 (A.) Except as otherwise specified in Resolution, all lots shall be permitted a maximum of two accessory buildings or structures in association with a principal building.
