A Special Trustee Meeting will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 8:00am at the Brimfield Township Townhall (1333 Tallmadge Rd, Kent) for the following items:
Police Department
1. Approval to hire Jessica Mathews as a Full-time Police Officer.
Road Department
1. Approval to hire Todd Johnson to the Part-time Seasonal Laborer position in the Road Department contingent on background check and substance test.
2. Set a bid opening date and advertisement date for a 2025 paving project.
Fiscal Office
1. Approval for an $800,000 loan for estimated remaining construction costs. Negotiations continue to settle remaining outstanding costs.
